Cedars CanSupport Volunteers
Our dedicated volunteers play a vital role in supporting patients and families in both the outpatient and the inpatient units. Volunteers are considered part of the team and assist with a range of activities including patient navigation and wayfinding, maintaining the flow of patients in a busy blood test center, finding information in the resource center, and friendly visits to patients receiving chemotherapy in the outpatient treatment center.
On the inpatient Medical Oncology, Hematological Oncology or Palliative Care Units, volunteers provide friendly visits and emotional support to patients, their families, and staff, offering comfort during difficult times. Their compassion and commitment make a meaningful difference in the lives of those they serve.
